Dispensing vs. Clinical Pharmacists

At NHC, our pharmacy team includes both dispensing and clinical pharmacists, each playing a key role in your care.

Dispensing Pharmacists fill and dispense prescriptions, ensure accuracy, and provide basic medication counseling. You’ll interact with dispensing pharmacists when picking up medications at a pharmacy such as our Canby location.

Clinical Pharmacists work directly with care teams and patients to manage complex medication needs. They help review prescriptions, monitor drug effectiveness, and adjust treatments for better outcomes. Clinical pharmacists are often found in our medical clinics, helping patients with chronic conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, and more.

Together, they help you stay safe, informed, and on track with your medications.

Financial Assistance

No insurance? No problem. We offer discounts on all our services and prescription medications. All patients are encouraged to apply.
