Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. Prior to joining NHC and earning her Bachelor of Science degree, Rachel provided direct clinical services and health education to patients in a private dental practice as well as a skilled nursing facility as an assistant for 28 years. She has extensive experience in preventative/therapeutic dental hygiene services and restorative care for diverse populations, pregnant women health compromised patients in underserved populations. Rachel provides hygiene services in our Tanasbourne Clinic. In her personal time Rachel enjoys spending time with her friends and family, quilting, gardening, volunteering and tending to her chickens, ducks, rabbits, cats, dog and beehives.
Kristen holds a BS in Dental Health Science from Pacific University with an emphasis in public health, Associates of Science and General Studies from Portland Community College, and completed her prerequisites at Pacific University in Hillsboro, Oregon. Kristen completed her clinical internships at Chemawa Indian Health Services and Virginia Garcia Dental Clinic. Kristen has volunteered extensively with Portland area dental care programs supporting underserved, uninsured and at-risk patients throughout her career and schooling. She has been with Neighborhood Health Center since 2013 and provides Dental Hygiene services in our Tanasbourne Dental Clinic, serves as an Expanded Practice Dental Hygienist at Milwaukie High School and is an adjunct faculty for Pacific University’s Dental Hygiene students. Kristen moved here from Ketchikan, Alaska in 2007 to attend college, and fell in love with the state and vast opportunities for Dental Hygienists. She enjoys being outdoors, exploring Oregon, and spending time with friends and family.
Jonathan holds a Doctor of Dental Medicine from Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry and a BS in Biology from BYU, Provo, Utah. He is fluent in Spanish and practiced community health dentistry in rural New Mexico prior to joining NHC in 2013. Jonathan was named NHC Dental Director in May 2015, and provides clinical dental services in the Oregon City and Milwaukie clinics. He is also a member of the National Health Service Corp. In his personal time Jonathan enjoys spending time with his family, running, and collecting musical instruments.
Tim holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice and Master of Science in Nursing from Arizona State University, Phoenix, Arizona, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Nevada, Reno. Tim has over 10 years of experience in healthcare, most recently as a rural Community Health Educator with the Peace Corps in Nicaragua from 2014 to 2016. Prior to joining the Peace Corps Tim provided primary care for adults and children aged 2 weeks to 104 years old, acute care for orthopedic and neuroscience patients and regularly provided mentorship to nursing students and new staff in Arizona. Tim is fluent in Spanish and provides patient care at the Tanasbourne Clinic.
Robert C. Lusk, MD, FACP, is NHC’s Chief Medical Officer. Robert holds a Doctor of Medicine from University of Texas Medical Branch and a BS in Biophysical and Biochemical Sciences from the University of Houston. He did his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch Affiliated Hospitals and held a Fellowship in Infectious Disease at Oregon Health and Sciences University. Robert has over 30 years of experience, most recently as Affiliate Associate Professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics at Oregon Health and Science University. He has been an associate program director, infectious disease subspecialist, director of inpatient teaching, hospitalist and consultant throughout his medical career. Robert has held memberships on numerous hospital boards and committees most recently as Chairperson for the Providence Portland Medical Center Department of Medicine and Cascade AIDS Project Executive Committee.
In addition to his practice, Robert has years of community service in Oregon including Northwest Medical Teams International, Our House of Portland, Willamette Valley Hospice, Oregon Speak Out Project, Oregon Repertory Singers, and Mid-Oregon Aids Support Services.
Maggie holds a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Pacific University and a Doctor of Medicine from Kerman Medical Sciences University in Kerman, Iran. She is fluent in Farsi and has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field; including10 years as a primary care physician in Iran. Maggie has experience in private practice, medical center, and emergency medicine and community health centers in Oregon. Maggie has cared for a variety of patients dealing with issues ranging from pain management, skin disorders, prenatal and postnatal care, family planning, and minor surgeries. Maggie has been a provider for Neighborhood Health Center since June 2010 caring for patients in the Tanasbourne Clinic.
Anna holds a Doctor of Medicine from Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon, and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at OHSU Cascades East Family Medicine and is fluent in Spanish. Anna has experience in treating patients with diverse backgrounds with chronic and acute diseases, health maintenance, post-partum and newborn care, caring for patients of all ages. Anna spent 2 years in the Peace Corp teaching health in local primary and secondary schools. Anna joined NHC June 2019, caring for patients in the Tanasbourne Clinic.
Dr. Miller holds a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Iowa College of Medicine, a Post Baccalaureate of PreMed from Iowa State University and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Iowa State University. Dr. Miller has over 33 years of experience in the healthcare field including private practice for 30 years. Dr. Miller has been with Neighborhood Health Center since June 2010 and provides part-time pediatric services in our Tanasbourne Clinic.
Dee holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova-Southeastern University of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. She completed an internship at Texas OPTI/Corpus Christi Medical Center and family medicine residency at Christus Santa Rosa Family Medicine in San Antonio, Texas. Dee has experience in providing patient centered care to underserved populations with a strong focus on preventative health for pediatric, adult and geriatric patients. She comes to NHC from Yakima Valley Farm Worker Clinic in Astoria, Oregon. Dee joined NHC is 2019 and provides patient care in the Tanasbourne Clinic. In her personal time Dee enjoys outdoor activities as well as thrifting and refurnishing.
Mo holds a Master of Science, Physician Assistant from George University, Washington DC, an Associate of Applied Science, EMS from Northern Virginia Community College, Springfield, Virginia, and a Bachelor of Science, Accounting from The American University, Washington DC. Mo has over 14 years of experience in healthcare as a Paramedic for 10 years and a Physician Assistant for 4 years. Most recently Mo provided primary care and urgent care to geriatric, adult and children at a family practice in Sherwood, Oregon, and fast track care in an emergency department in Woodbridge, Virginia. Mo is passionate about integrative or food as medicine and will be providing primary care services at the Tanasbourne Clinic.
Dan holds a Doctor of Medicine from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Indiana Kelley School of Business and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Dan has over 15 years of experience in the health sciences industry, most recently as an Internal Medicine Resident Physician at the Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle and at The George Washington University Hospital in Washington DC. Since 2000 Dr. O’Neill has been actively engaged in several HIV/AIDS organizations and LGBT Health clinics, where he received much of his medical training. He also previously worked as a Research associate at the Institute of Medicine. Dan is a certified HIV specialist from the American Academy of HIV Medicine and has a particular focus in LGBT healthcare. He recently joined Neighborhood Health Center and will be practicing in General Internal Medicine at our Tanasbourne Clinic.
Cassondra holds a Doctor of Dental Medicine from Oregon Health & Science University and a Bachelor of Science in General Science: Pre-Dentistry from Oregon State University. Cassondra worked for a public health clinic in Roseburg prior to joining NHC. She joined NHC in 2015 and provides dental services in Tanasbourne Dental Clinic. In her personal time Cassondra enjoys hiking, camping, backpacking, cooking and playing guitar.
Kary holds a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Mt Mary University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California. She has been working with infants, young children and families in a wide variety of practice settings over the past 14 years. Prior to joining NHC Kary was in private practice consulting with pediatric facilities, mentoring staff, and teaching courses for medical professionals in the greater Los Angeles area. In addition to professional consulting, Kary has extensive experience supporting families in a variety of settings, including Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), pediatric acute care, pediatric inpatient rehab, and within the home, providing occupational performance assessment, developmental evaluations, and comprehensive feeding assessments. She specializes in family mental health as related to engagement in daily occupations, including feeding (as a board-certified lactation consultant), sleep, and development. Kary provides program development and Occupational Therapy services within pediatric primary care visits in our Tanasbourne Clinic. In her personal time Kary enjoys spending time with her family, exploring, reading, hiking, and sewing.
Lil holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University in Washington DC and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Worcester State College in Worcester, Massachusetts. Lili has over 35 years of health care experience in healthcare field, 15 of which are in public health. She has experience providing women well-care, family planning, prenatal care and midwifery care as well as delivery room and emergency room hospital care. Lil provides services in both our new Hillsboro clinic as well as our Tanasbourne Clinic. In her personal time Lil enjoys the great northwest outdoors, reading, gardening and bee keeping.
Tove holds a Master and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, a Master of Arts in Women’s Health from Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. Tove has over 10 years of experience in healthcare in roles ranging from EMT along the U.S. Mexico border in Arizona, Domestic Violence Survivor Outreach Coordinator, Community Health Worker and Registered Nurse. Most recently, Tove was a registered nurse at Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts. Tove will be practicing at the Tanasbourne clinic providing primary care and reproductive health services, and at the Hillsboro Clinic providing reproductive health services. Tove is fluent in Spanish.
Kathy holds a Doctor of Medicine from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; a Master of Public Health from the University of Washington School of Public Health; and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Scranton in Scranton, Pennsylvania. She completed a Pediatric Residency at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois; a Fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the University of Minnesota Children’s Hospital of St. Paul in St. Paul, Minnesota as well as a Fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Ultrasound at the University of Arizona Maricopa Integrated Health System in Phoenix, Arizona. Kathy has held faculty positions as Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at both University of Southern California Davis as well as the University of Washington. She has over 30 years of experience as Staff Pediatrician and Attending Physician in a number of hospital settings in addition to her pediatric emergency medicine experience. Most recently Kathy was a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at USCD School of Medicine before joining NHC in 2019. Kathy provides patient care at the Tanasbourne Clinic.
Wyatt holds a Doctor of Dental Medicine from Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry and a BS in Business Management from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. He is conversive in Spanish and practiced general dentistry in private practice prior to joining NHC. Wyatt is experienced in all aspects of general dentistry. Wyatt provides general dental services out of our Milwaukie Dental clinic. In his personal time Wyatt enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He is a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoys exploring the trails available off road. Wyatt joined Neighborhood Health Center Dental in October 2017 and serves our patients primarily in the Milwaukie clinic.
