Dr. Arthur attended Oxford Medical School and graduated in medicine and surgery at the University of Oxford in England. She interned at Waterbury Hospital in Connecticut before moving to the Pacific Northwest to complete her psychiatric residency at OHSU in Portland. She has over 40 years of experience as a psychiatrist in private practice, at Kaiser Permanente NW region, and community mental health clinics around the metro area and the state. She has worked as a psychiatric consultant to primary care clinics in Portland, and has experience treating mental health and substance use disorders using medications, therapy and education. In her free time she enjoys gardening, flower arrangement, reading Scandinavian noir mysteries, and working on improving environmental health. She is a folk singer and composer of many songs, which celebrate nature, Earth-centered traditions, the seasons, and support all human rights (especially women’s rights).
Lil holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University in Washington DC and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Worcester State College in Worcester, Massachusetts. Lili has over 35 years of health care experience in healthcare field, 15 of which are in public health. She has experience providing women well-care, family planning, prenatal care and midwifery care as well as delivery room and emergency room hospital care. Lil provides services in both our new Hillsboro clinic as well as our Tanasbourne Clinic. In her personal time Lil enjoys the great northwest outdoors, reading, gardening and bee keeping.
Tove holds a Master and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, a Master of Arts in Women’s Health from Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. Tove has over 10 years of experience in healthcare in roles ranging from EMT along the U.S. Mexico border in Arizona, Domestic Violence Survivor Outreach Coordinator, Community Health Worker and Registered Nurse. Most recently, Tove was a registered nurse at Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts. Tove will be practicing at the Tanasbourne clinic providing primary care and reproductive health services, and at the Hillsboro Clinic providing reproductive health services. Tove is fluent in Spanish.
