To support social distancing and safe patient care, NHC offers video and telephone visits for routine care.
NHC clinics are now open and safe for a limited number of non-urgent and routine visits; after a telephone or video visit, a care team member will schedule you an in-person visit, when medically appropriate.
If you visit us in-clinic for an appointment, you may notice a few changes.
We are putting other measures in place to ensure the safety of our patients and staff, including:
If you are unable to come to the clinic, we are happy to schedule a telemedicine or teledentist (urgent only) visit for you.
When you call, be sure to tell the NHC Patient Service Representative that you would like to schedule a telemedicine or teledentist visit via phone or video.
As part of NHC’s COVID-19 safety protocols, our staff and patients will receive a temperature check as they enter the clinic. A staff member will take your temperature when you come in the front door for your appointment.
The thermometers we use are temporal artery no-touch thermometers that take your temperature at a distance. They are easy to use and will allow us to get an accurate reading while maintaining social distance.
We will get your permission and talk through each step as we take them.
