Neighborhood Health Center has been awarded a $1,000 grant from Walmart to support the organization’s work with underserved, at-risk patients in Washington County.
“We are very excited to have such a great partnership with Walmart and are very thankful for the grant,” said Zach Rosko, Director of Pharmacy and Care Teams at NHC.
He added that the funding from Walmart Neighborhood Market #2950 in Hillsboro will be used to provide support for self-pay patients in Washington County.
The Walmart Community Grants Team awards grants of $250 to $5,000 through Walmart stores, Sam’s Clubs and Logistics facilities.
Eligible nonprofit organizations must operate within the service area of the facility from which they are requesting funding.
