Risk Management Coordinator

Under the direction of the Director of Risk and Compliance and the Risk Manager, this position is responsible for handling day to day Risk Management activities to ensure prompt response to, and mitigation of, workplace incidents and patient grievances.

Essential job duties:

  • Manage incident report log and identify trends to address lower-level incidents and escalate mid- and high-level incidents to the Risk Manager
  • Receive patient concerns and manage concerns log
  • Perform preliminary data gathering on patient concerns and document findings for the Risk Manager
  • Perform ongoing maintenance and audits of NHC’s Learning Management System and ensure training compliance among staff

Education and experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience in fielding complaints, investigation and resolution preferred
  • At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to fluently speak, read, and write in Spanish is required
