Non-Clinical Educator

Reporting to the Director of Compliance and Risk, the Non-Clinical Educator will direct a continuous quality improvement program for NHC Front Desk and Contact Center positions to promote professional excellence and standardization and maintaining compliance with state, federal, and operational requirements.

Essential job duties:

  • Develops, implements, and maintains a non-clinical staff continuous quality improvement program to promote the knowledge and skills necessary to provide excellent service to patients and to meet or exceed state, federal, and accreditation requirements
  • Acts as a champion for the front desk (medical and dental) and a resource for the Contact Center staff, promoting standardization across NHC by working closely with Clinic Managers, Front Desk Leads, and the Contact Center to ensure awareness of NHC workflows, policies, and standards of practice
  • Provides regular reports on results of training, audits, and recommendations from these results to leadership

Education and experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of Dental Assistant training required
  • Three years experience working in a customer service position in Primary Care and/or Preventive Dental, preferably in a patient-centered or community health center environment
  • Two or more years experience with Epic required
  • Associate or Bachelors degree in healthcare or business administration preferred
  • Experience training others and creating presentations and meaningful training materials required
  • Equivalent combination education and/or experience may be qualifying
