This position is responsible for providing clinical support to providers and working in a patient-centered medical home to provide quality care to patients.

Essential job duties:

• Sets the bar for exceptional patient care for the rest of the team
• Assistants other medical assistants with any questions, escalated situations, or training needed
• Participates in the rooming of patients that may include taking vital signs, performing venipuncture and/or EKG, conducting health examination and administering lab tests
• Administers immunizations and injections and a variety of procedures as directed

Education and experience:

• Requires current National Medical Assistant Certification
• One year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in primary care preferred
• Must be BLS or CPR certified
