This position is responsible for providing professional, comprehensive primary medical care and treatment services with emphasis on prevention of disease and promotion of health.

Essential job duties:

• Provides patients with medical assessments and treatments pertaining to physical and mental health
• Orders and interprets medical labs and diagnostic imaging for patients
• Refers patients to appropriate specialists as needed
• Prescribes pharmaceuticals and treatments for assessed medical conditions
• Performs minor procedures as qualified

Education and experience:

• Doctoral degree (MD/DO) or equivalent from an accredited school of medicine is required
• Completion of Family Practice Residency with at least two years of related experience and/or training required
• Experience working with underserved populations in a community health center preferred
• This position required an active and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Oregon
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
