On Tuesday, July 9, Neighborhood Health Center (NHC) and Washington County Public Health are hosting a Teen Expo from 5 – 7:30 pm in the parking lot of the Hillsboro Clinic located at 266 W Main St., Hillsboro.
Now in its third year, the event will include free food, games, information on teen health, and an opportunity to visit the walk-in clinic. The expo is open to everyone in the community, teens and families alike. Stop by for fun and family-friendly educational activities.
NHC is a safety net clinic that provides low-cost healthcare to Washington Country residents. The Hillsboro Reproductive Health Clinic offers a Youth Clinic every Tuesday from 3 – 7 pm. The Youth Clinic is open to boys and girls ages 12-24, is staffed by educators and medical professionals who are trained to meet the special social and medical needs of teens.
Services are free or low cost and include pregnancy tests, birth control, testing for sexually transmitted infections and HIV, as well as information and resources about sexual health. All services are strictly confidential. Parental permission is not required.
