Our team of administrative professionals, led by Chief Executive Officer Jeri Weeks, provides overall direction and administration of NHC’s health center operations.
The executive leadership team interprets and applies the policies of the Board of Directors, establishes basic policies with which the various activities are carried out, guides and develops short and long-term planning and evaluates activities in terms of objectives.
Chief Executive Officer, Jeri Weeks, MBA
Jeri Weeks is NHC’s CEO and has been with the organization since 2012. Jeri has over 35 years of healthcare services experience with 20 plus years of experience in FQHCs implementing growth initiatives. Additionally, Jeri has provided senior leadership to collaborative care initiatives, secured numerous grants for the agency, and has implemented an improved patient access process resulting in an increase in provider productivity of 25% over a one-year period. Prior to working for NHC, Jeri was the CEO of Community Health Centers of Lane County in Eugene, Oregon for four years. Prior to Lane County, Jeri was a Clinic Director for Northwest Human Services in Salem. Jeri has a thorough understanding of community health centers having served as a Medical Receptionist at the beginning of her career as well as being a scheduler, administrator and director before becoming a CEO serving the Board of Directors at NHC. Jeri holds a Master of Business Administration degree from City University in Seattle Washington.
Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer, Blain A. West, CPA
Blain West is NHC’s CFO and has been with the organization since 2012. Prior to coming on board at NHC, Blain worked as an accounting manager with the Tillamook County Health Department, a FQHC co-applicant. Blain was responsible for providing financial advice, assuring the finance department provided accurate and timely accounting, financial reporting, grant reporting, governmental reporting and compliance with all pertinent government funding and donor regulations and procedures. Blain is familiar with UDS and cost reporting procedures as well as grant management and financial performance related initiatives. Blain graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science in 1985, obtaining his CPA certificate in July of 1987. Blain provides NHC with financial expertise in viability and sustainability.
Chief Dental Officer, Jonathan Hall, DMD
Jonathan Hall is NHC’s Dental Director and has been with the organization since June of 2013. Jon accomplished his DMD at Oregon Health and Science University in June of 2012 and his license as a general dentist for the state of Oregon in 2013. Prior to working for NHC, Jon worked as a dental provider for Ben Archer Health Center, a FQHC in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. Prior to this Jon served as the Secretary of the OHSU student chapter of the Hispanic Dental Association, dedicating his time to raising awareness of and promoting the oral health care of the Hispanic community through improved prevention, treatment, and education. Jon is fluent in Spanish and is an active member of the National Health Service Corps. Jon is a vital part of the key management team, helping NHC build a fully integrated and patient centered dental practice at NHC’s Tanasbourne location.
