Jonathan holds a Doctor of Dental Medicine from Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry and a BS in Biology from BYU, Provo, Utah. Jonathan was named NHC Dental Director in May 2015. He is fluent in Spanish, spent two years in Argentina and was a dental and medical translator prior to completing his dental degree. Jonathan has 2 years of experience providing dental services to patients in public health clinics in New Mexico and Oregon. Jonathan has been with Neighborhood Health Center since 2013 and provides Dental Services in our Oregon City Dental Clinic. In his personal time Jonathan enjoys spending time with his wife and children, running, and collecting musical instruments!.
Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Pacific University. Rachel is an Expanded Practice Dental Hygienist for NHC and has 4 years of experience providing dental assistant and hygienist services in a variety of clinic settings. Rachel is fluent in Spanish, and is passionate about caring for children and underserved, disadvantaged and homeless populations. Rachel provides dental hygienist services in our Milwaukie Dental Clinic.
Kristen holds a BS in Dental Health Science from Pacific University with an emphasis in public health, Associates of Science and General Studies from Portland Community College, and completed her prerequisites at Pacific University in Hillsboro, Oregon. Kristen completed her clinical internships at Chemawa Indian Health Services and Virginia Garcia Dental Clinic. Kristen has volunteered extensively with Portland area dental care programs supporting underserved, uninsured and at-risk patients throughout her career and schooling. She has been with Neighborhood Health Center since 2013 and provides Dental Hygiene services in both our Milwaukie and Oregon City Dental Clinics, serves as an Expanded Practice Dental Hygienist at Milwaukie High School and is an adjunct faculty for Pacific University’s Dental Hygiene students. Kristen moved here from Ketchikan, Alaska in 2007 to attend college, and fell in love with the state and vast opportunities for Dental Hygienists. She enjoys being outdoors, exploring Oregon, and spending time with friends and family.
Cassondra holds a Doctor of Dental Medicine from Oregon Health & Science University and a Bachelor of Science in General Science: Pre-Dentistry from Oregon State University. Cassondra worked for a public health clinic in Roseburg prior to joining NHC. She joined NHC in 2015 and provides dental services in both our Oregon City and Milwaukie Dental Clinic. In her personal time Cassondra enjoys hiking, camping, backpacking, cooking and playing guitar.
Alynn holds a Masters in Public Health from Oregon State University and a BS in Dental Hygiene from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry. Alynn is the Community Dental Project Coordinator for NHC and has 8 years of experience providing hygienist services in private practice and in community health clinics which also includes 4 years of experience in community outreach dental services. Alynn has international experience volunteering hygiene services to rural, low income patients in Vera Cruz, Mexico. She has also volunteered in nursing homes and community public health outreach programs. Alynn developed the Baby Days program designed to raise awareness of good oral healthcare for 0-3 year old children. Alynn helps coordinate NHC’s preventative dental services at the Milwaukie High School Health and Wellness Center, a school-based health center for students, and provides preventative oral health services to Head Start children throughout Clackamas County during the school year. Alynn has been with NHC since 2011 providing services within the community and in our Oregon City Dental Clinic. In her personal time Alynn enjoys running, hiking, camping, cooking and spending time with family. She also loves to travel and has been to 7 European countries, Canada and Mexico, and driven through 31 US states/districts.
